The sound of a helicopter overhead is something many Saskatchewan residents recognize instantly, and for some, it signals a life-saving mission in progress.
The STARS Critical Care on the Air Radiothon is underway across the province, bringing together more than 30 radio stations to share stories and raise funds for the air ambulance service. The two-day event began April 7 and continues today, with a fundraising goal of $525,000.
