A registered charity and non-profit organization, 25th Street Theatre officially incorporated in 1974, becoming the first professional Theatre company in Saskatoon. Now in our 48th year, 25th Street Theatre is known primarily as the producer of the annual Fringe Festival which has been a cultural landmark of Saskatoon supporting the creation of new work and artists who seek to work outside the Canadian regional theatre model since 1989. Running from July 28th through August 6th, the Saskatoon Fringe is a 10-day Festival in the heart of the Broadway District of Saskatoon which celebrates the vibrant art created in our local community and beyond. As a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals, the Saskatoon Fringe is a part of an international network of Fringe Festivals which provides a platform for artists from around the world to travel across the country sharing their stories.
