SaskAbilities is a registered charity and operates under the authority of the Non-profit Corporations Act, 1995, of Saskatchewan. We are dedicated to providing programs and services to people experiencing disability in Saskatchewan. In 1950, families of children with cerebral palsy believed there could be better education, treatment and services for their children and others like them; they did something about it and started the Saskatchewan Council for Crippled Children. Within a year, the Council found itself providing services to both children and adults disabled by the effects of polio. To reflect this expansion of services, the name was changed to Saskatchewan Council for Crippled Children and Adults. In 1984, a desire to emphasize abilities rather than disabilities led to a second name change for the agency. It became the Saskatchewan Abilities Council Inc. In 2010, the Saskatchewan Abilities Council celebrated 60 years of success in delivering recreational, rehabilitation and vocational programs to people with disabilities throughout the province. Now in 2017, to reflect our organization’s progress and evolution, we introduced a third name change: SaskAbilities, a more modern, streamlined version of our name that still maintains a respectful nod to our history and roots in the community. We have branches located in Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton, with five Partners in Employment offices located in Moose Jaw, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton. Each branch location offers a Special Needs Equipment depot, with an additional depot in Prince Albert. Manitou Beach is home to Camp Easter Seal, and Provincial Services resides in Saskatoon.

Recognized since 1905 as the collective voice of Saskatchewan municipalities, SUMA represents the interests of municipal governments on policy and program matters within provincial jurisdiction. The Association has been in continuous operation since that time, serving the needs of member councils by maintaining and improving the strength of local government.

We are STEMnosis, a student led non-profit dedicated for highschoolers, by highschoolers. We are dedicated to tackling financial limitations worldwide for students wishing to pursue medicine, and are currently developing a free online research course to run this summer.

Since 1985, STARS provided people the care they need when they need it the most. STARS exists to provide a safe, rapid, highly specialized emergency transport system for the critically injured. Whether it's offering hands-on training to rural medical providers or providing rapid, emergency medical transportation for the critically ill and injured, we work to anticipate and act when people need our help.

STARS is a non-profit, charitable air ambulance organization that provides critical care to both urban and rural people when they need it most. We believe that where you live, work, play or travel shouldn’t impact your chance of survival. Since 1985, we’ve carried out more than 45,000 missions across Western Canada, and in our last fiscal year, we carried out 1144 missions across Saskatchewan alone. Three distinct groups are integral to our fight to save lives: PATIENTS – Our patients are the reason we fly and are at the centre of everything we do. CREW – Whether on the ground or in the air, our crew makes each mission possible. ALLIES – Our generous supporters are the lifeblood behind our life-saving efforts. STARS was built by the community for the community, and it’s the support of our community that will keep STARS fighting for the lives of patients for decades to come.

Volunteer to join the fun assisting youth experiencing disability ages 13-22. Programming is offered Thursday and Friday nights.

The LOVE YOU by Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women is a 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run taking place in 18 cities across Canada in support of local women’s mental health services, raising over $14 million dollars for women's mental health services. Every dollar raised supports mothers, daughters, and friends through the funding of programs that allow women to take that next step to recovery.

The Rosewood Community Association is a volunteer non-profit organization that was incorporated in August 2012 to service residents of the Rosewood Community in Saskatoon. We plan programs and events, bringing residents together in the Rosewood community.

Community Development - Using the ‘Nothing About Us Without Us’ philosophy, build relationships and ongoing connections with core community agencies and organizations; - Foster joint community efforts and actions on systemic issues and situations; - Build individual and group capacity to engage in social change processes; - Foster, coordinate, participate in and/or lead community activities to address social issues of core communities, normally in cooperation with community partners. - 2. Build Direct Links and Partnerships between the Community and partner Organizations - Offer a positive presence and perspective with and among groups and partners throughout ICM activities; - Serves Neighbourhood groups and the wider church and faith communities as able; - Provide individual and family support, community service navigations as well as emotional, social, and spiritual care as able.

Results is a nonprofit advocacy organization of passionate staff and volunteers committed to generating the political will to end extreme poverty in low- and middle-income countries. Pulse of Hope Foundation is a Saskatchewan-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the compassion, accessibility, equity, and quality of healthcare for people across the province. We exist to serve those who face the greatest barriers to care - rural residents, Indigenous Peoples, newcomers to Canada, and individuals living with chronic health conditions. We pursue our mission through three core pillars: advancing community advocacy, education, and awareness around health issues; facilitating access to non-medical equipment for those who need it; and supporting or co-creating community-based health initiatives that meet people where they are.
