Repair and Maintenance volunteers

Repair and Maintenance Volunteers help keep our items in good working order by using their repair skills and know-how. Volunteers work with the Repair and Maintenance Coordinator and take on repairs that match their skills and interests.

Duties

Repair and maintain inventory items as assigned

Complete repair work independently once items are assigned

Help estimate repair costs and suggest needed materials

Share expertise and recommendations with the Repair and Maintenance Coordinator

This role is a great fit for handy humans who enjoy fixing and maintaining things. Previous repair experience is required.

Expectations

Multiple volunteers with different skill sets are welcome. Time commitment and workload will vary depending on the Library’s needs and each volunteer’s skills.
