The Shoebox Project for Women is an unaffiliated, non-religious, Canadian charity that supports women experiencing or at-risk-of homelessness, and that celebrates diversity, builds awareness, challenges stigma and promotes equity. When we use the term 'women' we use it in an inclusive manner and are mindful of the diverse and intersecting identities of the people who we support.

The Rose Parade, also commonly known as the Rose Bowl Parade, is the highlight of the annual Tournament of Roses that greets the new year in Pasadena every year since way back in 1890. The Rose Parade is a lively, loud and colourful parade involving dozens of floats, marching bands and equestrian units, and is watched by a huge audience, both on the city streets and also on televison and online via the increasingly popular and free live stream, which is back once again for the 2024 event, which will be the 135th year this fabulous event has taken place. The formation area for participants is in front of Tournament House, and then the start point is at the corner of Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard. The parade then moves north on Orange Grove before turning onto Colorado Boulevard for the main viewing, then onto Sierra Madre Boulevard before the parade ends at Villa Street. There are ticketed seating areas available in reserved grandstand areas on the parade route, and you must have a ticket if you wish to sit in the grandstands. The Canadian Wildlife Federation is Canada's largest conservation organization. The CWF offers it's WILD Outside program in Saskatoon. WILD Outside is a year-round, no-cost, inclusive, and barrier-free program. Our only requirement is that you are within the ages of 15 to 18. There is no prior outdoor or conservation experience required, just a willingness to learn and have fun!  The aim of the program is to engage young people in outdoor adventure, conservation, and community service projects. With the support of program leaders, you will be given the opportunity to collaboratively plan and execute your own conservation service projects and outdoor adventures. Program structure consists of one full-day (Saturday or Sunday) event per month, as well as an optional weekday workshop/educational activity. You are encouraged to dedicate 120 hours per year to the program. Activities can include (but are not limited to) hiking, snowshoeing, canoeing, rock-climbing, kayaking, shoreline clean-ups, trail-building, citizen science, urban farming, and tree-planting, just to name a few examples. We’ll discuss participant interests and make it happen! Our program unites diverse youth in an engaging and immersive experience. Our objective is to develop leadership, confidence, and a “conservation ethic” in our participants.

We hope our way of covering solutions makes people excited to contribute to clean energy, sustainable agriculture, and other global-scale sustainability issues – beyond reusing their plastic bags. The North Saskatchewan Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Canada is made up of CF parents, siblings and friends of both CF Children and CF Adults from across Northern Saskatchewan.

Frontier College is a national, non-profit literacy organization that was founded in 1899. We work with children, teens, adults, and families who need help to improve their literacy skills. We work with a variety of partner organizations to deliver volunteer-run, community-based programs across Canada. We believe literacy is a right, and work with volunteers and community partners to give people the skills and confidence they need to reach their potential and contribute to society. Our Saskatoon, Canada office is currently looking for energetic, fun, and dynamic individuals with people-oriented skills to volunteer in the programs we offer online/virtually to children and youth.

Our  mission is to protect the significant and unique naturalized areas - Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area and George Genereux Urban Regional Park - from further deterioration and develop them into valued public properties that support recreation, heritage and environmental education.

An on-going, growing and evolving advocacy program to reduce the number of  bird “window strikes” in Saskatoon through increased awareness and education about options for window treatments, both on homes as well as businesses. Partners include Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation, Saskatoon Nature Society, Saskatchewan Light Pollution Abatement Committee (SLPAC) and Wild Birds Unlimited (WBU). This project is funded by the City of Saskatoon.
