The Saskatchewan Cerebral Palsy Association is a registered nonprofit charity focused on helping individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities in the province of Saskatchewan.  Our mission is to ensure individuals with cerebral palsy the right to opportunities to achieve their fullest potential through education, health care and access to all amenities of the community.

SaskAbilities is a registered charity and operates under the authority of the Non-profit Corporations Act, 1995, of Saskatchewan. We are dedicated to providing programs and services to people experiencing disability in Saskatchewan. In 1950, families of children with cerebral palsy believed there could be better education, treatment and services for their children and others like them; they did something about it and started the Saskatchewan Council for Crippled Children. Within a year, the Council found itself providing services to both children and adults disabled by the effects of polio. To reflect this expansion of services, the name was changed to Saskatchewan Council for Crippled Children and Adults. In 1984, a desire to emphasize abilities rather than disabilities led to a second name change for the agency. It became the Saskatchewan Abilities Council Inc. In 2010, the Saskatchewan Abilities Council celebrated 60 years of success in delivering recreational, rehabilitation and vocational programs to people with disabilities throughout the province. Now in 2017, to reflect our organization’s progress and evolution, we introduced a third name change: SaskAbilities, a more modern, streamlined version of our name that still maintains a respectful nod to our history and roots in the community. We have branches located in Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton, with five Partners in Employment offices located in Moose Jaw, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton. Each branch location offers a Special Needs Equipment depot, with an additional depot in Prince Albert. Manitou Beach is home to Camp Easter Seal, and Provincial Services resides in Saskatoon.

For over 60 years, Heart & Stroke has been dedicated to fighting heart  disease and stroke. Our work has saved thousands of lives and improved the lives of millions of others.

Frontier College is a national literacy organization, and we have been working in Saskatchewan continuously since 1903. We work with volunteers and community partners to give people the skills and confidence they need to reach their potential and contribute to society. Low literacy skills are directly linked to poverty, poor health, and high unemployment. Our network of volunteers provides excellent and effective programming to improve literacy in communities across Canada, from coast to coast to coast. We value mutual respect and collaboration in all our relationships. In order to achieve our mission, we are committed to finding and using innovative ways to reach the people who need us most. Our activities, programs, and services are inclusive of any individual for whom our assistance is welcome and needed.

The LOVE YOU by Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women is a 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run taking place in 18 cities across Canada in support of local women’s mental health services, raising over $14 million dollars for women's mental health services. Every dollar raised supports mothers, daughters, and friends through the funding of programs that allow women to take that next step to recovery.

The Rosewood Community Association is a volunteer non-profit organization that was incorporated in August 2012 to service residents of the Rosewood Community in Saskatoon. We plan programs and events, bringing residents together in the Rosewood community.

Results is a nonprofit advocacy organization of passionate staff and volunteers committed to generating the political will to end extreme poverty in low- and middle-income countries. The Micah Mission is a volunteer based, restorative justice organization in Saskatoon. We have programs in which volunteers can assist individuals affected by the justice system in safe and successful reintegration. Through Person to Person visits in prison and Circles of Support and Accountability in the community, volunteers make a significant difference in reducing the rates of recidivism.

The AIM (Ability in Me) program is a provincial non-profit, charitable organization located in Saskatoon offering specialized therapy and innovative programs that support individuals between 0 and 22 years of age with Down syndrome and their families. Services include speech and language therapy, literacy programming, occupational therapy and music therapy. Staff work collaboratively with parents and caregivers, as well as health and education professionals. AIM puts emphasis on the successful inclusion in the home, school, and community settings.

BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) Coffee Talk Inc. team invites you to join us at our 1st anti-racism forum and social gathering titled, "The BIPOC Lens" on Sunday, July 10th! Bring you and your friends to our unique, exciting all-day event of anti-racism education, BIPOC perspectives, fun & games, and dancing! For the event, the organizers are looking for ~5 volunteers to: - Sign in attendees at the door - Help watch the venue for damage - Help set up the room - Help with tear down and clean up These volunteers will get free admission to the event. Food will be included.
