Parkinson Canada believes in a better life today for People Living with Parkinson’s, and a world without Parkinson’s tomorrow.  Canada has some of the world’s highest rates, and it is growing quickly.  People living with Parkinson’s are at the centre of everything we do at Parkinson Canada. We provide education and services, and we advocate with federal, provincial, and territorial governments on issues that matter to the Parkinson’s community in Canada. The Parkinson Research Program funds innovative research to search for better treatments and a cure.   People living with Parkinson’s count on us to be there at every step of their Parkinson’s journey. In 1992, a small group of volunteers began a movement in Toronto’s High Park. They brought together 1,500 people to raise awareness and raised $85,000 for the breast cancer cause. This moment marked the beginning of what was to become the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. It is now Canada’s largest single-day, volunteer-led event supporting the breast cancer cause. In 1997, the trailblazing partnership between the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) and CIBC began. On February 1, 2017, CBCF and the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) joined forces under the CCS banner. Together, CCS, CIBC and thousands of dedicated Canadians continue to raise vital funds for the breast cancer cause through this signature event. We are grateful to CIBC, their employees and clients for their longstanding support and the countless volunteers, participants and donors that are helping to change the future of breast cancer. This event unites an incredible collective of Canadians who are a force-for-life in the face of breast cancer and want to show their support. It is an inspirational day that raises important funds for CCS, the largest charitable funder of breast cancer research in Canada. CCS invests these dollars into groundbreaking breast cancer research, compassionate support services, trusted cancer information and advocacy on behalf of all Canadians. Because of the funds Canadians raise through the CIBC Run for the Cure, we know more than ever before about how to prevent, diagnose, treat and live with and beyond breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian women. It touches the lives of so many families every day. The CIBC Run for the Cure gives families, friends and supporters the opportunity to come together to honour and celebrate their loved ones. And to make a real difference for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer. Saskatoon hosts over 1,000 participants at the Run for the Cure event each year at Prairieland Park, raising thousands of dollars each year. We need your help to make our local event amazing!

We are STEMnosis, a student led non-profit dedicated for highschoolers, by highschoolers. We are dedicated to tackling financial limitations worldwide for students wishing to pursue medicine, and are currently developing a free online research course to run this summer.

Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is the only national, volunteer-based charity focused on finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the lives of children and adults affected by these diseases. We are one of the top two health charity funders of Crohn’s and colitis research in the world, investing over $150 million in research since 1974, leading to important breakthroughs in genetics, gut microbes, inflammation and cell repair as well as laying the groundwork for new and better treatments. We are transforming the lives of people affected by Crohn’s and colitis (the two main forms of inflammatory bowel disease) through research, patient programs, advocacy, and awareness.

Make-A-Wish Canada is an independently operating affiliate of Make-A-Wish international. We create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, and we are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Make-A-Wish is the world’s leading children’s wish-granting organization, operating in 50 countries. Here in Canada, we serve children in every community from coast to coast to coast.

Since 1985, STARS provided people the care they need when they need it the most. STARS exists to provide a safe, rapid, highly specialized emergency transport system for the critically injured. Whether it's offering hands-on training to rural medical providers or providing rapid, emergency medical transportation for the critically ill and injured, we work to anticipate and act when people need our help.

SARBI provides psycho/social rehabilitation to survivors of moderate to severe Acquired Brain Injuries.

Pulse of Hope Foundation is a Saskatchewan-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the compassion, accessibility, equity, and quality of healthcare for people across the province. We exist to serve those who face the greatest barriers to care - rural residents, Indigenous Peoples, newcomers to Canada, and individuals living with chronic health conditions. We pursue our mission through three core pillars: advancing community advocacy, education, and awareness around health issues; facilitating access to non-medical equipment for those who need it; and supporting or co-creating community-based health initiatives that meet people where they are.
