The Princess Shop provides supports that empower women, girls and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals to work with them on their journeys of education, employment and community aspirations.

The Shoebox Project for Women is a registered charity that collects and distributes gift-filled Shoeboxes to local women impacted by homelessness across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

We aim to foster safe, supportive and inclusive communities by facilitating compassionate gestures of kindness between our supporters and local women experiencing homelessness.

For women who have been displaced from their homes and estranged from their families, special occasions can be particularly challenging. Often, women report feeling disconnected from society, invisible and alone.  A Shoebox gift is a powerful reminder for a woman that she has not been forgotten and that she remains a valued and respected member of her community.

For those giving gifts, The Shoebox Project is a tangible and creative opportunity to give back directly to someone in your very own community. It’s a small, simple gesture of kindness that has an immediate, positive impact on the woman who receives it.

We are a Canadian charitable non-profit passionate about making Canada a country where all women are seen, valued, and treated with dignity and respect. Our mission is to uplift and empower women experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, through in-kind support, education, and community participation.

Through volunteer-led gift drives, we encourage community participation to support women facing housing and income insecurity, and awareness to build more compassionate and connected communities.
