A registered charity and non-profit organization, 25th Street Theatre officially incorporated in 1974, becoming the first professional Theatre company in Saskatoon. Now in our 48th year, 25th Street Theatre is known primarily as the producer of the annual Fringe Festival which has been a cultural landmark of Saskatoon supporting the creation of new work and artists who seek to work outside the Canadian regional theatre model since 1989.
Running from July 28th through August 6th, the Saskatoon Fringe is a 10-day Festival in the heart of the Broadway District of Saskatoon which celebrates the vibrant art created in our local community and beyond. As a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals, the Saskatoon Fringe is a part of an international network of Fringe Festivals which provides a platform for artists from around the world to travel across the country sharing their stories.
SaskAbilities was incorporated in 1950 and continues to operate under the authority of The Non-profit Corporations Act, 1995, of Saskatchewan and is a registered charity under the Income Tax Act. We are dedicated to providing programs and services to people experiencing disability in Saskatchewan, and to building inclusive communities.
The Active Transportation Advisory Group (ATAG) provides advice and feedback to the Transportation Department on active transportation policies, programs, education and awareness initiatives. The ATAG represents the perspectives of active transportation users, residents, partners and stakeholders in Saskatoon and is made up of organizational representatives, community representatives and City of Saskatoon representatives.
STARS is a non-profit, charitable air ambulance organization that provides critical care to both urban and rural people when they need it most. We believe that where you live, work, play or travel shouldn’t impact your chance of survival.
Since 1985, we’ve carried out more than 45,000 missions across Western Canada, and in our last fiscal year, we carried out 1144 missions across Saskatchewan alone.
Three distinct groups are integral to our fight to save lives:
PATIENTS – Our patients are the reason we fly and are at the centre of everything we do.
CREW – Whether on the ground or in the air, our crew makes each mission possible.
ALLIES – Our generous supporters are the lifeblood behind our life-saving efforts.
STARS was built by the community for the community, and it’s the support of our community that will keep STARS fighting for the lives of patients for decades to come.

Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) is a multifaceted organization that plays an instrumental role in both affordable housing, and solutions around homelessness in our community. At SHIP, we work to provide consultation and research services, and front-line support to groups developing affordable housing. We raise awareness about the need for affordable housing and research innovative policy solutions.
To address homelessness, we collaborate with multiple agencies across our city, and all levels of government, with one simple goal: To end homelessness in Saskatoon.
The Princess Shop provides supports that empower women, girls and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals to work with them on their journeys of education, employment and community aspirations.
Autism Services is a Saskatoon-based charitable organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Autism Services supports the mental and social wellbeing of all involved through advocacy, resource navigation, mental health support, social recreation, and other programs.
The Saskatchewan Rattlers are a men's professional basketball team a part of the Canadian Elite Basketball league (CEBL). The Rattlers are one of ten franchises across the country playing from May to August at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.

The Saskatchewan Marathon, one of the longest running marathons in Canada.
The first event was run, with only the marathon distance offered, on May 12, 1979. In August, 1979, Saskatoon would be hosting the Western Canada Summer Games. The Saskatoon Road Runners Association (established in 1975) was asked by the organizers of the 1979 Western Canada Summer Games to organize an event with two purposes. First, the event would be a test run of the marathon event of the Games. Secondly, the event would act as a qualifier for three Saskatchewan residents, making them eligible to run the WCSG event on August 15.
Wanuskewin Heritage Park Authority (WHPA) is a non-for-profit organization governed by twelve (12) Board of Directors that consists of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous members. The Directors are appointees from municipal, provincial and federal governments, the University of Saskatchewan and First Nations communities.
WHPA is not a federal, provincial, or municipal park, but rather a stand-alone entity under provincial government legislation as per the Wanuskewin Heritage Park Act, 1997.
WHPA has a Council that consists of Elders who represent the various First Nations communities who gathered in the Wanuskewin area. The Elder’s council ensures that the direction, planning and continuity of Wanuskewin are aligned with oral tradition and authentic cultural heritage.
The WHPA Board of Directors select a Chief Executive Officer responsible for the overall management and operation of the park. Operating income for Wanuskewin comes from a mixture of grants, park revenues, and donations.
Diabetes Canada mission to lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes lead healthy lives while working to find a cure. Currently there are 11.7 million Canadians living with diabetes and prediabetes. We support by providing services to those affected and advocating on their behalf.
